On a hot summer's day it's often cool here because it's next to the river and shaded by the abundance of trees.

It follows the Hacking River and is about 10km each way, so about 20km return from Audley. If you ride from the Audley end, the last 1km is a relatively steep climb but not too bad.

Fantastic national park! This place is so much more than the wedding cake rock and figure 8 pools, stop by the visitor and have them help you plan a day hike that combines bush walking and the coastal walk, to see everything the park has to offer. End your day at Wattamolla beach for a cool off swim. Note: wedding cake rock area is closed and unsafe. Figure 8 pools should only be accessed at certain times of the day in good weather. Don't be dumb and hop the fence. :-)

Did the Lady Carrington Drive bike ride from the Audley end and then back again. Awesome ride. I'm just starting out mountain biking and this was a great track to get 20km under the belt. The track was really wide and the gradient was generally easy. There is a longish steep section at the South end. The terrain was generally good with a few rocky sections but nothing crazy. Beautiful location, great ride. Highly recommended!

Amazing place for a relaxing day by the river, bush walking, taking the mountain bike or for a swim at some of the beaches. Plenty of space for large groups with many different spots for picnics or bbq. Lots of different walking tracks to explore and swimming holes. Definitely recommend, as there is so much to see.
